The Applications Options Group

This options group controls whether or not Asutype is enabled to work with your applications.

Exceptions

  • If you want Asutype work with most applications except a few, choose "Enable all, except..." radio button and put exception applications into the "Exceptions" list.
  • If you want Asutype not work with most applications except a few, choose "Disable all, except..." radio button and put exception applications into the "Exceptions" list.
  • To put an item into the "Exceptions" list, select the item in the "Applications" list and click "Exception Add" button.
  • To remove an item from the "Exceptions" list, select the item and click "Exception Remove" button.

Add an application into the "Applications" list
Asutype automatically detects and lists an application in the "Applications" list if there is any keyboard activity in it. If you don't find your application in the "Applications" list, just activate it and type something (for example, use arrow keys to move the caret around or use Alt key to pop-up a menu etc.); then switch back to this Options dialog box to find the application's name in the list.

Automatic Startup

  • To launch Asutype automatically at startup, check "Launch Asutype automatically at startup" checkbox.
