The Hot Keys Options Group

This options group controls how Asutype responses to your hot keys and quick actions

Left-click Command

Asutype will execute this command if you left-click the running icon. Available commands are:

• Do nothing
• Toggle the application on and off
• Pop-up the icon menu
• Activate the main window
• Activate the Options dialog box
• Activate the Shortcut Lists editor
• Activate the Find Shortcuts dialog box
• Activate the Spelling Dictionaries editor
• Activate the Correction Lists editor
• Activate the Mistake Review dialog box

The default command is "Activate the main window".

Note: Right-click the icon always shows the icon menu.

Preset Keyboard Hot Keys

Asutype comes with three preset keyboard hot keys. You can enable or disable a preset hot key but you cannot change it to other key combination. To enable a preset hot key, check its checkbox. To disable it, uncheck its checkbox. They are:

Task	Key combination	How to use
Undo/redo the last correction	CAPSLOCK+CAPSLOCK	Press the CAPSLOCK key twice
Toggle the application	LSHIFT+RSHIFT	Press and hold the left SHIFT, then press the right SHIFT, finally release both
Mass toggle (e.g. toggle several options at once - click "..." button to activate the Mass Toggle dialog box and choose particular options)	LCTRL+RCTRL	Press and hold the left CTRL, then press the right CTRL, finally release both

Only the "Undo/redo" preset hot key is enabled by default.

Other Keyboard Hot Keys

Asutype also comes with several other keyboard hot keys that you can both enable/disable them and change them to any key combinations you prefer. To enable a hot key, check its checkbox. To disable it, uncheck its checkbox. To change its key combination, double click it. They are:

Toggle the application	CTRL+SHIFT+A+T	Press and hold both CTRL and SHIFT key (left or right), then press and release A, then press and release T, finally release both CTRL and SHIFT keys
Activate the Options dialog box	CTRL+SHIFT+A+O	Press and hold both CTRL and SHIFT key (left or right), then press and release A, then press and release O, finally release both CTRL and SHIFT keys
Activate the Shortcut Lists editor	CTRL+SHIFT+A+S	Press and hold both CTRL and SHIFT key (left or right), then press and release A, then press and release S, finally release both CTRL and SHIFT keys
Activate the Find Shortcuts dialog box	CTRL+SHIFT+A+F	Press and hold both CTRL and SHIFT key (left or right), then press and release A, then press and release F, finally release both CTRL and SHIFT keys
Activate the Spelling Dictionaries editor	CTRL+SHIFT+A+D	Press and hold both CTRL and SHIFT key (left or right), then press and release A, then press and release D, finally release both CTRL and SHIFT keys
Activate the Correction Lists editor	CTRL+SHIFT+A+C	Press and hold both CTRL and SHIFT key (left or right), then press and release A, then press and release C, finally release both CTRL and SHIFT keys
Activate the Mistake Review dialog box	CTRL+SHIFT+A+R	Press and hold both CTRL and SHIFT key (left or right), then press and release A, then press and release R, finally release both CTRL and SHIFT keys
Clear all highlighting	CTRL+SHIFT+A+L	Press and hold both CTRL and SHIFT key (left or right), then press and release A, then press and release L, finally release both CTRL and SHIFT keys
HiliCheck the selection	CTRL+SHIFT+A+H	Press and hold both CTRL and SHIFT key (left or right), then press and release A, then press and release H, finally release both CTRL and SHIFT keys
Activate the ClipCheck dialog box	CTRL+SHIFT+A+P	Press and hold both CTRL and SHIFT key (left or right), then press and release A, then press and release P, finally release both CTRL and SHIFT keys
Activate the Suggestion Pop-up Window by keyboard	CTRL+SHIFT+A+W	Press and hold both CTRL and SHIFT key (left or right), then press and release A, then press and release W, finally release both CTRL and SHIFT keys
Activate the Suggestion Pop-up Window by mouse	CTRL+Right button	Press and hold CTRL key (left or right), then right click the mouse
Suggestion Window: Select Item #1	1	Press and release 1

Suggestion Window: Page Down (e.g. show more suggestions)	RIGHT ARROW	Press and release RIGHT arrow key
Suggestion Window: Select (e.g. correct the mistake by the current selection)	ENTER	Press and release ENTER
Suggestion Window: Cancel (e.g. dismiss the window without correcting)	ESCAPE	Press and release ESCAPE
Suggestion Window: Double cancel (e.g. press this hot key twice will dismiss the suggestion window)	SPACE	Press and release SPACE twice
Suggestion Window: Correction Add (e.g. add the mistake and the current correction as a new mistake/correction pair into the current correction list)	0	Press and release 0
Suggestion Window: Correct Select (e.g. choose a correction list to add the mistake and the current correction as a new mistake/correction pair into; this newly chosen list will become the current correction list)	CTRL+0	Press and hold CTRL key (left or right), then press and release 0, finally release both keys
Suggestion Window: Spelling Add (e.g. add the mistake as a new word into the current spelling dictionary)	F2	Press and release F2
Suggestion Window: Spelling Select (e.g. choose a spelling dictionary to add the mistake as a new word into; this newly chosen dictionary will become the current spelling dictionary)	CTRL+F2	Press and hold CTRL key (left or right), then press and release F2, finally release both keys
Suggestion Window: Delete and retype (e.g. delete the mistake and place the caret to the mistake position ready to retype it)	DEL	Press and release DEL
