The Mistakes Review Dialog Box
Use this dialog box to review mistakes and optionally process them. Asutype logs all mistakes you have made so far along with their frequency. They are listed in the Mistake list in the left:
- Click "Mistake" column to sort the mistakes alphabetically.
- Click "Count" column to sort the mistakes by their frequency.
- Click "Clear All" button to clear all the mistakes.
Activate the Mistakes Review Dialog Box
Either:
- Right click the running icon and choose "Mistakes Review" command.
- Or, click "Mistakes Review" button from the Speller panel of the main window.
- Or, click "Mistakes Review" command from the Corrections Options dialog box.
- Or, press <CTRL+SHIFT+A+R> hot key anywhere, anytime.
Note: You can change the hot key to any keyboard combination by modifying the "Activate the Mistakes Review Dialog Box" hot key in the Hot Keys Options dialog box.
Use the Mistakes Review Dialog Box
- Select a mistake that you want to review from the list on the left and take an appropriate action (see below)
Actions you may take on each mistake
- Click "Remove" button to remove the mistake from the list.
- Click "Spelling Add" button to add the mistake to the current hot spelling dictionary. The name of the current hot spelling dictionary is listed under the button.
- Click ">>" button next to the "Spelling Add" to add the mistake to another open spelling dictionary. The newly selected dictionary will become the current hot spelling dictionary.
- Click "Correction Add" button to add the mistake along with the correction in the edit box to the current hot correction list. The name of the current hot correction list is listed under the button.
- Click ">>" button next to the "Correction Add" to add the mistake along with the correction in the edit box to another open correction list. The newly selected list will become the current hot correction list.
Note:
- To quickly add a mistake into the current hot spelling dictionary, double click it in the list on the left
- To quickly add the mistake along with a correction into the current hot correction list, Ctrl+left click a suggestion in the list on the right.
- Note (Trial Version only): The free trial version cannot save data changes permanently. All changes are available in the current working session only; they will be discarded when you exit Asutype. If you want to save your data permanently, use the full version instead.
